Smart markers
Pick once, click many.
Sticky product picker stays loaded while you drop equipment across the plan. Bulk-select, keyboard delete, and a draggable on-plan key make placement fast. No jumping back to a palette between every click.
mrkup.pro replaces the markup tool and the spreadsheet quote in one. Below is every feature you get from the moment you upload a plan to the moment the customer signs the quote.
Pick once, click many.

Shape, colour, letter, or upload your own PNG.
Every product on your catalogue carries its own visual identity. Pick a shape, a fill colour and the letter that sits inside it, or upload a custom PNG icon to override the auto-generated marker. The same symbol appears on the canvas, on the marked-up plan, in the customer key and in the equipment schedule, so there's never a translation step between what the fitter sees and what the customer signs off.
P1, P2, P3. Auto-numbered per product, per plan.
Every marker carries an automatic per-product sequence label so the fitter on site can match a label on the plan to a row in the equipment schedule without guessing. Numbers reset per floor, so plan one and plan two both start from P1. Pulled through to the floorplan PDF, the customer-facing key, and the equipment schedule export.
Draw on the plan, marquee-erase mistakes.
A proper pen tool for when a marker won't do. Sketch a cable route detour, circle an area for attention, or draft a thought before committing. Pick colour and stroke width. Switch to Erase sub-mode and drag a rectangle around any strokes you want to delete. Cmd+Z undoes the last stroke. Renders into the PDF export.
Rectangles, circles, polygons for zones and coverage.
Mark a fire compartment, a zone, a coverage area, an evacuation route. Drag for rectangles and circles. For polygons, click each vertex and click back near the first to close, or hit Esc to cancel. Pick stroke colour, stroke width and fill opacity. Useful for documenting compartments under BS 5839 and coverage areas under CCTV operational requirements.
Everything a markup tool needs, in one toolbar.
Whiteout to hide existing labels, sticky-note callouts with leader lines for site commentary, arrows you can reshape and recolour, free-position text labels at any size and colour, and image stamps (your logo, photos, anything PNG or JPG) you can drag and resize. Every annotation flows into the PDF export so the marked plan and the printed plan look the same.
Floors total to one project quote.
A four-storey care home is one project, not four. Each floor has its own canvas and own equipment count, but the totals roll up into one customer-facing quote, one bill of materials, and one fitter schedule.
Calibrate once, by line or by known area.
Draw a line of known length, or trace a known area like a parking bay or single bedroom. Everything else on the plan scales from that single calibration. Works on architect's PDFs, hand-drawn sketches, and exported CAD plans.
Live distance and area on any plan.
Once the plan is calibrated, click any two points for a distance, or trace a polygon for an area. Useful when scoping cable routes, calculating coverage radii, or pricing per-square-metre work.
Click point to point. Live metres feed the quote.
Draw a polyline along the cable route. Metres tally as you draw and land straight on the quote. Calibrated to the plan scale, so the number matches what the fitter will pull on site.
Builds itself as you mark up.
Drop a dot, draw a cable run, and the line items, totals and margin update in real time. No spreadsheet to maintain. No risk of the markup and the quote drifting out of sync.
GBP, EUR, USD and more.
Pick your operating currency at account setup. Everything (catalogue prices, quote totals, exports) renders in that currency automatically. Useful for installers running cross-border jobs or selling into multiple regions.
Service costs alongside the install.
Each product carries its own annual maintenance time and rate. The quote shows the install price, the recurring service revenue, and the lifetime value in one view. Helps you sell the contract, not just the install.
Customer quote, fitter schedule, marked plan.
Every project exports as a customer-facing PDF quote, a branded Excel quote you can edit, the marked-up floorplan as a PDF, and the equipment schedule as Excel. All four from the same screen, with one click.
Logo, colours, symbols, layout.
Upload your company logo once. It appears on the customer quote PDF, the fitter's plan, and the equipment schedule. Symbol colours and letters are per-product. The exports look like your business, not ours.
Free forever for one project. No card. No demo call required.
