Floorplan markup and takeoff tool for sales teams and installers in access control
Access control takeoff. The quote builds itself.
Floorplan markup and quoting software for UK access control installers. Drop one marker per door, get a per-door product breakdown, customer-ready PDF, equipment schedule and the fitter's marked-up plan in one click.
Built for the access control workflow
Three things mrkup.pro does specifically for your sector.
Card readers, biometric readers, keypads, REX buttons, mag locks, strikes, door contacts, request-to-exit, PSUs, controllers. Bring your usual supplier SKUs or use the BS EN 60839 starter pack.
Most doors share the same kit: reader, lock, REX, PSU share and cabling. Set up a 'standard door' preset once; drop one marker per door on the plan and the whole kit drops into the quote with the right price and labour minutes.
Customer-facing PDF gives the facilities manager a clean per-door breakdown and a total. The fitter gets the marked-up plan plus an Excel schedule listing every door, every line item, every cable run.
Access control installers ask us
Does mrkup.pro handle multi-door networked controllers?
Yes. Controllers are products in your catalogue. A 4-door controller is one line at its full cost, then each door you place adds its reader, lock, REX, contact and cable. The controller cost gets apportioned at quote level rather than per-door, exactly the way you usually present it.
Standalone or networked: does it matter?
No. Both are just different product mixes against the same per-door marker. Networked jobs get the controllers, PoE switches and head-end software as line items in addition to the door kit; standalone jobs are just the per-door hardware. Either way you mark up once and the quote builds itself.
Does it cost the PSU sizing and current draw?
PSU itself is a product with cost, sell and install minutes. Current-draw calculation is judgement (mag lock holding + reader + spare margin) so that stays with you, but the chosen PSU drops straight into the quote.
What about turnstiles, gates and barriers?
All supported. Anything you fit can be a product with its own SKU, symbol and price. Turnstiles, sliding gates, drop-arm barriers, intercom panels: none of them are special-cased, all of them just need their entry in your product list.
Is the customer PDF acceptable for facilities-manager sign-off?
It is designed to be. Your logo at the top, your contact and VAT details, the customer name and site address, a clean per-line breakdown with totals, install fee and (optionally) maintenance terms. Most installers send the PDF directly without re-typing into Word.
